Fast & Furious 7 surprised everyone when it became one of the highest-grossing movies of all time earlier this year, which obviously means an eighth instalment is on its way. And a ninth. Fast 8 will be released worldwide on April 14, 2017, but fans are already searching for the latest updates. So here's everything we know so far, with the newest information right at the top...

He said: "Universal has been so good to me and so trusting of the vision… they have been like family… I promised the studio I would deliver one last Trilogy to end the saga."
With Furious 7 concluding Brian O'Conner's story arc and introducing Kurt Russell's Mr Nobody, it's fair to predict that the new trilogy will focus on Dom's team being set new challenges each time.
