Cody Walker to Fast & Furious 8 ? Maybe

Fast & Furious 8 Has Officially Begun Filming in Cuba VIDEO

Fast 8/Fast & Furious 8 is the next installment in the highly-lucrative Fast and the Furious movie franchise and will serve as the followup to last year’s Furious 7: the highest-grossing addition to the street car racing-turned globe-trotting action series yet, as well as the film that provided a sendoff to the late Paul Walker and his character, Brian O’Connor. The Fast & Furious brand will nevertheless continue on for (at least) an additional three movies, with Fast & Furious 10 currently scheduled to arrive in time to commemorate the property’s 20th anniversary in 2021.

First things first, though; Fast 8 will once again star Vin Diesel as Dominic Toretto, alongside his wife Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) and the members of their extended “family”, Roman (Tyrese Gibson) and Tej (Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges). The plot for Fast 8 – which, like the last several Fast & Furious installments, was scripted by Chris Morgan – remains under wraps for now, though the movie’s storyline is reported to involve Furious 7 antagonist Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham), in addition to a new mystery villain played by Oscar-winner Charlize Theron.

Other new Fast & Furious franchise cast additions in the eighth installment include Scott Eastwood (in a TBA role) and Kristofer Hivju (best known for playing Wildling Tormund Giantsbane on Game of Thrones). We may learn more about their roles in the foreseeable future, as Fast 8 is now officially in production in the country of Cuba. Universal Pictures confirmed that news through the official Fast & Furious Twitter and Instagram accounts (see the video below).

Fast And Furious 8' Cast & News: Lucas Black Will Replace Paul Walker As Vin Diesel's Road Partner

                                                                 via :Screenrant

The hype about the next franchise of "Fast and Furious" is growing intense. What will happen to "Fast and Furious 8" without Paul Walker? There is no doubt that he will be missed because he is Dominic Toretto's (Vin Diesel) closest partner. However, new reports suggest that Diesel will have a new sidekick in "Fast and Furious 8."

Cinema Blend reports that Lucas Black's character Sean Boswell will return in "Fast and Furious 8." Black, the "Tokyo Drift" hero appeared in "Fast and Furious 6" to inform Dom that Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham) killed Han. The two met in Tokyo and Dom brought Han's body in Los Angeles for a proper burial.

Per the report, Lucas Black has signed up for the seventh, eighth and ninth installment of "Fast and Furious." However, plans for the next films are fluid at the time.

According to Christian Today, considering Lucas Black's role in the third film, his character is a good replacement for Paul Walker's character Brian O'Connor. However, the big difference is that the latter has a closer bond with Dom because of his relationship with Dom's younger sister. Meanwhile, Sean's only connection to the team was Han.

The report notes that it's possible that Dom will contact Sean when things go out of control and the team needs another skilled man to take the wheels for them. If Lucas will be Toretto's next partner, it will be a huge role to fill and fans may see it differently.

Paul Walker and Vin Diesel's tandem is among the strengths of the "Fast and Furious" franchise. The two got so close like brothers even outside the set. In fact, Diesel named his youngest daughter "Pauline" as a tribute to Paul.

Her body is #GOALS

When I reach my 40s, I can only hope to look half as good as Jennifer Lopez. Homegirl puts in work to make sure her body stays banging. Earlier this week, JLo posted a post-workout photo on her Instagram and let me tell you, the results of that workout are everything.
But that’s not the first and only workout photo she’s posted. The 46-year-old gets in regularly with trainer David Kirsch and always updates us on her progress.

Fast and Furious 8: Paul Walker’s brother Cody Walker will play a new role?

                                                               iamge by : Furious

In addition to returning to stand in for his brother, Paul, if needed in the new Fast and Furious 8 movie, word has it that Cody Walker’s face will also be making an appearance in the new movie. According to the latest gossip news updates, both Universal and Vin Diesel have been thinking about adding a new role just for Cody, now that they’ve sent his brother’s character, Brian O’Conner into semi-retirement on the show. Franchise staple, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson recently explained that the entire cast and crew are looking forward to returning for the new, New York centric action flick, but a lot of other decisions have to be made before they are anywhere near ready to begin filming.
Although Cody Walker seemed more than happy to help cement his brother Paul’s legacy in Hollywood by helping Universal finish the now record breaking Fast and Furious 7 following his tragic death in a fiery car crash late 2013, it’s now being rumored that Cody may be getting his very own part in the New York City set Fast 8.
“There is talk of Walker’s younger brother Cody being given the part of a new character in the film.
“Cody has expressed his interest in being associated with the franchise and would be up for a role if offered on in Fast and Furious 8.”

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson recently explained that he too is very excited to return to the franchise, as is the rest of the cast and crew, but understands that Universal is still a long ways off from setting anything down in stone just yet:
“Of course. It can’t go on without [my character] Hobbs…We all are interested in it.
“I just had a big conversation with the studio. So we’ll see.
“I still think for me personally we’ve created a little bit of space for him in 7 and the gauge is set for what the audience will want.
“That’s my take on it, you know, but a lot of other people have to have input.”
After making more than any other movie in the history of cinema save for Avatar and Titanic with Furious 7, Universal can definitely afford to wire all the actors they need going in Fast 8, so perhaps they will just hire everyone.

Top 10 Movies of all time

Everyone’s favorite movies are different. My top picks include Steven Seagal flick, an obscure wing-nut comedy that’s never officially been released on DVD, and a badass Korean thriller. That’s part of the fun of being a movie fan, the endless debate about the merits of one picture or the other.

Time Out New York recently polled a bunch of actors and compiled a list of the top 100 movies of all time, and while that’s too extensive a list for us to go through here, we’re down to tackle the top ten. To compile their list, they asked a bunch of actors what they think the greatest movie of all is, and when they tallied the results, they’re not exactly what you expect. Some you would guess, others, not so much. The participants include such varied talents as Bill Hader, Juliette Binoche, Lili Taylor,Anthony Mackie, Stephen Merchant, and dozens more. Click HERE to see the entire, wildly diverse list, and see what each participant put down at their top choices.

10. Taxi Driver
Martin Scorsese had to have a spot in the top ten, and few movies on his CV are as beloved and celebrated across the board as 1976’s Taxi Driver. Maybe the definingRobert De Niro performance in a career of them, the film won the Palme D’or at Cannes and hasn’t stopped accumulating acclaim since. Routinely cited as one of the greatest movies of all time, it has elements of noir, a vigilante narrative, psychological thriller, and more, and has become a true cultural touchstone. Even those who have never seen the movie know the infamous, "You talking to me?" scenario.
                                                          via :Cinemablend
9. The Red Shoes
1948's The Red Shoes, inspired by a Hans Christian Anderson fairy tale, follows a young, unknown ballet dancer as she contends with the demands made of her by her career and by the man she loves, and the tension that creates. Praised for being both avant garde and classical, the film explores the nature of creativity and presses at the boundaries between cinema and theater. Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger’s film is a story that, like its protagonist, is pulled in multiple directions by multiple forces and influences, to mesmerizing results, and is never as simple as the story sounds.

8. Boogie Nights
Paul Thomas Anderson has become celebrated as a modern auteur with sprawling movies like MagnoliaThere Will Be Blood, and The Master on his resume. Still, it’s his 1997 porn industry-set drama Boogie Night that finds a place in the top ten. Probably still his most broadly appealing film, the John Holmes-inspired story nails the details of the 1970s setting, showed us that Mark Wahlberg could actually act his ass off, and presents a textured, empathetic, compassionate portrait of what amounts to an extended family comprised of wounded individuals struggling with their various demons.

7. Annie Hall
1977's Annie Hall is Woody Allen working at the top of his considerable game. 38 years later it still holds up, and is a reminder of just how wonderful the romantic comedy, as a genre, can be, which is nice to remember when you consider the deluge of tepid nonsense that realm has largely become. The story of Alvy Singer’s (Allen) quest to figure out why his relationship the Dianne Keaton’s title character failed, the film deals with so much more. Jumping around in time, it deals with themes of love, sexuality, and identity, delves into psychoanalysis for thematic and comedic effect, and is generally regarded as one of the best works from a master.

6. The Godfather Part 2
Sequels are generally regarded as never living up to the original, but Francis Ford Coppola’s The Godfather Part 2 is one of the rare exceptions to this rule. The 1974 follow up to the 1972 original continues the saga of the Corleone family and is both a direct sequel and a prequel. One thread picks up with Michael (Al Pacino) in the wake of the first film, while the other follows the early days of his father, Vito (Robert De Niro here, Marlon Brando in the first film). The winner of six Oscars, it’s one of those rare films where everything and everyone involved, is working at their best, which, considering the talent involved, the results are bound to be this impressive and monumental.

5. To Kill A Mockingbird
Based on Harper Lee’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, the 1963 film adaptation of To Kill A Mockingbird is every bit as celebrated as the source material. Lawyer Atticus Finch has become the defining role of Gregory Peck’s stellar career, and the story of his defense of a black man falsely accused of a crime in the Depression-era South has become one of the defining moments in American cinema and literature. It has woven itself into the fabric of our history so completely that even if you have never read the book or seen the movie, you still know characters like Atticus Finch and Boo Radley.

4. Cinema Paradiso
The only foreign film to crack the top ten, Cinema Paradiso, Giuseppe Tornatore’s 1988 Italian drama, is simultaneously a love letter to cinema and an exploration of memory. Upon learning of the death of the proprietor of the movie theater he frequented as a child, a filmmaker looks back at his younger days and recalls how he fell for film and how his friendship with the older man shaped his life. Not only is it gorgeous and moving, after walking away with an Academy Award in 1989, it was also hugely important to the Italian film industry, and is credited with reviving the flagging business. And it has an Ennio Morricone score, which is always a bonus.

3. A Woman Under The Influence

John Cassavetes is at his best creating characters and sticking them tough, dire circumstances, and never did he do that better than in A Woman Under the Influence in 1974. Starring his real life wife Gena Rowlands and Peter Falk as perhaps the dysfunctional family, the story is a poignant, moving, intense, and often terrifying portrait of mental illness. Complex and compelling, it dissects social norms, traditional family dynamics, and contemporary gender roles, among others, in an insightful, empathetic, even humorous way. It’s emotionally exhausting to watch, makes you feel like you got punched in the stomach, and never truly resolves, but there is a very good reason it lands at number three on this list.

2. The Godfather
Francis Ford Coppola’s 1972 crime epic The Godfather is not just a gangster movie, it’s the gangster movie. There have been greats before and since, but none truly measure up to the tale of the Corleone family. The transformation of Michael Corleone (Al Pacino) from the golden child outsider to reluctant leader of a violent crime family is one of the greatest American narratives ever put on celluloid. Along with the other two films in the trilogy, especially the second, The Godfather has had an unparalleled impact on the culture in the years since, both popular and otherwise, and its influence is still widely felt today in movies and beyond.

1. Tootsie
And here we are at number one, and the most surprising entry in the whole damn list. Don’t get me wrong, I adore Tootsie, it’s a wonderful movie and Dustin Hoffmanis as good as ever and it still totally holds up. It’s just that I don’t know how many of you out there anticipated it would be named the greatest move of all time. Perhaps the tale of a down on his luck actor who dresses like a woman to land a job on a soap opera resonates deeply with actors in a way I know nothing about. Sydney Pollack’s 1982 film is great and you should watch it, but as you do, ask yourself if you think it’s the best movie ever. Maybe you do.

Furious 7 is now bigger than Frozen

Furious 7 has only been out for four weeks, but it already owns multiple box office accomplishments—and it has a new one to add to the list this weekend. Furious 7 is a bigger worldwide hit than Frozen.
The seventh Fast & Furious film topped $1.32 billion in global earnings this weekend, pushing it ahead of Frozen’s $1.27 billion total. That puts Furious 7 at No. 5 on the list of highest grossing movies of all-time, right behind Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, which made $1.34 billion.
In North America, Furious 7 is also doing pretty well: It’s still No. 1 at the box office, and this weekend made an estimated $18.3 million—just 37 percent less than last weekend’s earnings. The previous two movies in the franchise dropped about 50 percent in their fourth weekends, so Furious 7’s decrease further proves the film’s popularity.
                                                          via :ew.com
New release The Age of Adaline came in third with $13.4 million, and the romantic drama should have a fine (if unimpressive) run in the coming weeks thanks to its fantasy aspect (Blake Lively plays an immortal woman) and its status as one of very few female-led films currently available in theaters.
Home, now in its fifth week, proved it’s not slowing down by nabbing the No. 4 spot with $8.3 million, while horror Unfriended came in fifth with $6.2 million.
The top five has been fairly consistent these past couple weeks, but that’s about to change next week once Avengers: Age of Ultron opens wide and takes the box office title from Furious 7.
1. Furious 7 — $18.3 million
2. Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 — $15.5 million
3. The Age of Adaline — $13.4 million
4. Home — $8.3 million
5. Unfriended — $6.2 million
Outside the top five, the critically loved Ex Machina expanded to 1,255 theaters this weekend and brought in $5.4 million, while the critically disliked Little Boy opened with $2.8 million in 1,045 theaters

'Fast and Furious 8' Cast Update: Brian O'Conner Will No Longer Live in Cody Walker

                                                           via : furious.all4posting.com

Fans will have to say good-bye to the most beloved character in "Fast and Furious" as it has been recently confirmed that Cody Walker won't be returning to represent his brother, Paul, in the eighth installment.
It turns out that previous rumors about Cody's return in "Fast 8" are all false and were made by fans who really want to see Brian in the film. A representative from Universal Pictures told Polygon that fans shouldn't believe the rumors about Cody's involvement in the film. "There's no truth behind it," the rep said.
The news is heartbreaking to the many fans who saw Paul live in his brother's eyes in the seventh movie. Cody stepped up to the plate and took over some scenes that Paul wasn't able to complete for "Fast 7" and his performance was deemed very crucial in the making and success of the seventh film.
However, it is now obvious that he won't be coming back to help revive Brian O'Conner and he won't even be in the movie to make his own name.
The sad news comes about two weeks after Vin Diesel finally revealed the first poster for the movie. The New York skyline is featured in the image, giving a thumbs up to the actor's previous statements that the movie will be filming in downtown NYC.

Meanwhile, it has also been revealed that some scenes will be shot in Cuba, while other locations have not been determined just yet. Other details have yet to be revealed, but with news that Brian's mem

ories will possibly not be relived in "Fast 8," some fans expressed disappointment.
The shock is understandable since Paul's character has largely become a pivotal part of the storyline. Without the actor nor his brother to join the set, it is easy to speculate that fans won't see Brian in the film after all.
"Fast 8" is expected to premiere sometime in April 2017, with Diesel reprising his role as Dominic Toretto.

Fast and Furious 8, 9 and 10: Vin Diesel's action series cast, release date and cars - everything you need to know

                                                          via :www.thequint.com

Fast & Furious 7 surprised everyone when it became one of the highest-grossing movies of all time earlier this year, which obviously means an eighth instalment is on its way. And a ninth. And a tenth. The world can't get enough of Dominic Toretto and his multi-cultural gang, who have grown from simple street racers to heist kings in a Mission: Impossible-Ocean's Eleven hybrid.
Fast 8 will be released worldwide on April 14, 2017, but fans are already searching for the latest updates. So here's everything we know so far, with the newest information right at the top...

Vin Diesel revealed to his fans on Facebook that Furious 8 intends to begin a new trilogy of films, that will ultimately end the franchise altogether withFurious 10.
He said: "Universal has been so good to me and so trusting of the vision… they have been like family… I promised the studio I would deliver one last Trilogy to end the saga."
With Furious 7 concluding Brian O'Conner's story arc and introducing Kurt Russell's Mr Nobody, it's fair to predict that the new trilogy will focus on Dom's team being set new challenges each time.
will be released April 19, 2019 and 10 will follow on April 2, 2021.

Straight Outta Compton's F Gary Gray will direct

After speculation that Vin Diesel himself may step up and direct the eighth instalment, it was revealed in October 2015 that F Gary Gray has signed up to be the top man.
Riding high off the success of his NWA biopic box office smash, the director revealed that he will succeed James Wan. Gray has had action experience before, having helmed The Italian JobA Man Apart and The Negotiator. Plus, the video for OutKast's 'Ms Jackson'.

It's called Fast 8

Just to make things more confusing, Vin Diesel has confirmed that the latest film will be calledFast 8. This follows Furious 7Fast & Furious 6Fast Five and so on. Vin clearly can't stick to a single title for this franchise.
However, the UK will make things a tad easier by calling it Fast & Furious 8.

Fast & Furious 8 cast: Will Eva Mendes make a long-awaited return?

nside sources have claimed that Mendes may make a comeback in Furious 8 as agent Monica Fuentes. But this has yet to be officially confirmed.
Monica was a main character in 2 Fast 2 Furious, but made a post-credits cameo in Fast Five. Reports claim that she might team up with Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) and Dom (Vin Diesel) to take on a new villain in New York.

Will there be a new O'Conner brother?

Paul Walker’s Father Sues Porsche For ‘Fast And Furious’ Actor’s Death

                                                          via : thewrap

Almost two years after his son’s death in a fiery car crash, the father of Fast & Furiousstar Paul Walker has followed his granddaughter’s lead and today filed a wrongful death suit against Porsche.
Seeking unspecific damages, Paul William Walker III’s lawsuit filed in L.A Superior Court (read it here) claims that the Porsche Carrera GT in which his son was riding when he died in November, 2013 was lacking in essential safety features. Like the similar lawsuit filed byMeadow Rain Walker in late September, this one cites issues of a stability control system, breakaway fuel line, and side-door reinforcements. A similar lawsuit (read it here) was also filed today by Kristine Rodas, the widow of Roger Rodas, who was actually driving the Porsche in which Walker was a passenger. The surviving Rodas has pulled the car company into court before over the crash, without much success.
The actor and Rodas died over the Thanksgiving weekend in 2013 while the production of Fast & Furious 7 (AKA Furious 7) was on hiatus. The film was subsequently delayed for a year while a means of completing it while honoring Walker was considered. The film released in April of 2015 and went on to earn $1.515 billion.
Paul William Walker III is represented by Christopher Heck and Ryan Stonerock of L.A. firm Wolf Rifkin Shapiro Shulman & Rabkin LLP.
